Moving air is an underrated stage tool: it sells flag and fabric movement, pushes haze and low fog where you want it, and adds life to hair and costume on camera. The Elumen8 Windstorm is the dedicated unit here, a purpose-built stage wind machine with a 310 mm fan shifting up to 55 cubic metres of air a minute.

Output runs from light breeze to strong gale in one percent steps, set from the onboard menu or a single DMX channel, so wind cues can sit on the lighting desk with everything else. A locking mains inlet, 360 degree tilt and supplied brackets for floor or truss mounting make positioning straightforward, and at 7.8 kg it rigs from a single clamp. Place it to steer haze across the stage rather than blasting into it, which just tears the atmosphere apart.
