Get the system right before ordering. Match the driver to the tape voltage, with the TD400 running four zones at 24V, and size its output above the total wattage of the run so it is not working flat out. DMX drivers such as the Flexoled FTP units let tape patch into a lighting console like any other fixture, while standalone drivers suit set-and-forget installs. Check the LED pitch, as 60 LEDs per metre gives a smooth continuous line at typical viewing distances, and note the PCB colour, since black PCB versions hide better against dark joinery and set work. IP20 tape is for dry interior use only. Use proper strip-to-strip and wire-to-strip connectors, or the applicator tool for clean mounting, rather than improvised joins that fail mid-run.
