Transcension

DMX splitters, fader desks, dimmer packs and clean power make up the Transcension range, the control and signal side of the Prolight Concepts Group catalogue, concentrating on the unglamorous boxes every rig depends on.

Distribution runs from the compact CS2 and eight-way S8 splitters to the rackmount RS6 and the HS2 hybrid, which combines powerCON power distribution with DMX splitting in one unit, alongside a dedicated powerCON distributor. Control comes from the SDC 6 and SDC 824 fader desks and the LED Master 64, straightforward controllers for band rigs, small venues and installs that do not justify a software platform. The N8 Art-Net/DMX node MKII bridges networked systems into DMX, the UP2 PRO dimmer pack and 4 channel multi pack handle conventional dimming and switching, and a family of regulated 12V DC supplies, including universal multi-plug versions in ratings from 500mA to 5A, keeps accessories and controllers fed.

None of it is exotic and all of it earns its rack space. Most units go out alongside larger fixture and audio orders, and a trade account makes adding them to each job painless for trade rig builders.
