About Synthesisers

Sampling and composition hardware from teenage engineering, currently the EP-40 RIDDIM sampler and composer, supplied with the TING FX mic. The EP-40 is a complete rhythm and bass system aimed squarely at reggae, dub and soundsystem writing: a library of well over 300 original samples organised into drums, bass, keys and FX banks, the supertone synth engine for classic reggae bass and lead tones, a pressure-sensitive dub siren, and eight remixable artist tracks from established producers. Sync and MIDI connections plus USB-C let it clock alongside the rest of a rig, and it runs on AAA batteries or USB-C power for writing away from a laptop.

The TING (EP-2350) is a standalone handheld performance mic with built-in echo, spring, pixie and robot voice effects, four triggerable samples and shake modulation; it plugs straight into the EP-40, or into any sound system via its 3.5mm line out.
