About DJ Headphones

Closed-back monitoring headphones for booths and live work, centred on the Sennheiser HD25 family alongside the HD200 PRO, HD280 PRO and Audio Technica’s ATH-PRO5X in black or white.

Isolation is the spec that matters in a loud booth: a closed design lets you cue accurately at sensible levels rather than winding the headphone output up to fight the room. The HD25 remains the working DJ standard for good reasons. It is light, takes years of abuse, and its split headband and rotatable capsule make one-ear monitoring natural; nearly every part is user-replaceable, so a broken cable or a crushed pad is a repair rather than a replacement. Within the family, the LIGHT strips things back to a simpler headband while the PLUS adds an accessory bundle. The HD280 PRO and HD200 PRO lean towards studio and general monitoring duties, and the ATH-PRO5X brings swivelling ear cups suited to single-ear cueing.

If pairs are being shared across a hire fleet or venue, standardising on one model keeps spares and replacements simple.
