Multi-zone sound for hospitality, retail and leisure venues is Optimal Audio’s whole brief: control, amplification and loudspeakers designed together as one ecosystem by the Focusrite Group, simple to specify, simple to install and simple for non-technical staff to run.

Control and drive start with the Zone 4P, which combines a four-zone audio controller with built-in amplification. ZonePad 4 wall panels or the ZonePad 8 touchscreen give bar and floor staff straightforward source and level control, while the SmartAmp 30 100V amplifier and Amp 100 power amplifier cover smaller zones and extra drive. Loudspeakers follow room by room: Cuboid on-wall cabinets in three and five inch formats, black or white, come in low impedance and 100V TX versions, and the Up ceiling range runs from the low-profile Up 4S to the Up 6 with backcan, with bezel-less Grille 1 and Grille 2 options for a cleaner ceiling. The Sub 10 adds low end to zones that need it.

Speccing is deliberately simple: start from zone count and controller choice, then pick loudspeakers room by room and add wall controllers where staff need access. Trade accounts and system-level advice are available for integrators fitting out multi-room venues.
