Know which system you are buying into. The TRUE1 format, and Seetronic’s TR1 equivalent, is rated for connection and disconnection under load and offers IP65 sealed versions, which makes it the default for outdoor rigs and anything a crew member might unplug live. The original powerCON format is not rated for breaking under load, uses the blue A-type for power in and the lighter B-type for power out, and does not intermate with TRUE1, so check what your existing fixtures carry before standardising. The FXX connectors here are the current B-type series. Sealing caps matter more than they look: an IP65 chassis connector only keeps its rating when the cap is fitted to an unmated socket, so spec them for every exposed panel.
