Expansion modules and rack hardware for Allen & Heath’s AHM matrix processors. The M-AHM-32-AX adds twelve channels of acoustic echo cancellation to the AHM-32, and the 12-channel AEC module does the same for the AHM-64. Each channel runs a 150ms adaptive filter with far-end automatic gain control, residual echo suppression, background noise reduction and speech-shaped comfort noise, deployed through channel inserts on the far-end and near-end paths, with a separate output available where local voice reinforcement is needed. Echo cancellation is the expansion most installs need, since it is what keeps conferencing rooms usable when microphones and loudspeakers occupy the same space.

The AHM-64 secure rack mount kit adds extendable rear supports that brace the processor against the back of the rack, worth specifying in shared equipment rooms or anywhere vibration is a concern. Modules are matched to specific AHM hosts, so confirm the processor before ordering.
