The Sennheiser EW-D ASA is an active antenna splitter for Evolution Wireless Digital systems, distributing the signal from a single antenna pair to up to four EW-D EM or EW-DX EM 2 rack receivers. Configured as 2 x 1:4 (or 1 x 1:8 when two units are linked), it lets sound engineers and production companies run multi-channel wireless setups from one shared, remote-mountable antenna pair instead of cluttering the rack with individual aerials.
Compatibility
Designed for Evolution Wireless Digital systems — supports up to four EW-D EM or EW-DX EM 2 rack receivers per unit. This is the 470–694 MHz (Ch38) band variant, covering the UK UHF range used by EW-D and EW-DX. BNC antenna cables are supplied for connection to the receivers.
