Why Use an Inline Preamp?
Dynamic and ribbon microphones often have low output levels that push budget preamps and interfaces into their noisy upper gain ranges. The DM2 adds clean gain before the preamp stage, keeping your signal well above the noise floor. The switchable impedance also lets you fine-tune how the mic loads into the circuit — lower impedance for a brighter, tighter response, or higher impedance for a more open, natural sound.

Note
Requires 48V phantom power from your mixer, interface, or stage box. Do not use with condenser microphones that also require phantom power through the same channel. This is the standard silver finish — a black variant is also available.
